What is an Olsen-Hegar Needle Holder TC?

The Olsen-Hegar Needle Holder TC is the most time-saving suturing instrument ever designed. It combines TWO instruments in ONE.

Front = Needle Holder with tungsten carbide jaws to hold the needle.
Back = Scissors with sharp blades to cut the suture.

What does TC mean?
TC = Tungsten Carbide inserts (gold handles). TC is much harder than steel. It grips the suture needle 10x stronger and never wears out. The needle will NOT slip, twist, or rotate – even with slippery monofilament sutures.

Serrated Solid jaws are ideal for holding fine to medium needles (2/0 to 5/0) securely without damaging them.
