What is a Roberts Artery Forceps?
The Roberts Artery Forceps is a long-pattern hemostatic forceps, very similar to a long Kelly forceps. It is designed specifically for deep surgery.
In abdominal and pelvic surgery, blood vessels are deep inside the cavity. A standard 14cm forceps is too short to reach them safely. The Roberts Forceps at 22cm long solves this problem.
Its long shanks allow the surgeon to reach deep into the abdomen, pelvis, or chest to clamp bleeding vessels and hold tissues without putting hands deep inside the wound. It provides better visibility and safety.
Available in Straight for direct clamping and Curved for clamping around structures.
