The Pederson Vaginal Speculum Leep / Lietz is a specialized open-sided modification of the Pederson speculum, designed specifically for LEEP (Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure) and other electrosurgical procedures. The open side provides unobstructed access for electrosurgical instruments and prevents smoke accumulation during LEEP.
This speculum features narrow Pederson-style blades with an open lateral design (Lietz modification) that allows for easier instrument maneuvering and better visualization during cervical procedures.
