The Kogan Modif Speculum (Modified Kogan Speculum) is a modified version of the standard Kogan Cervix Specula. It is extra-long and extra-narrow.

Standard Kogan vs Kogan Modif – What is the Difference?

• Standard Kogan 24cm: Wide upper blade with scale – for general cervix retraction.
• Kogan Modif 28cm: Extra-long 28cm, modified narrow beak – designed for deep endocervical canal examination and precise measurement of internal cervical opening. The modification is the very narrow, beak-like lower blade.

This instrument is used when the regular Kogan is too short or too wide – for deep vaginal vaults and endocervical procedures.

The x and y values are the beak opening measurements:
