The Fig.46L Apex Forceps Lower Root is a specialist Apex / Deep Root Pick Forceps designed for the most difficult extractions - Lower Deep Roots, Lower Root Apex, Broken Root Tips, and Retained Apical Fragments in the lower jaw.
This is NOT a regular extraction forceps. Apex Forceps have extra-slim, elongated, and pointed beaks that go deep inside the socket to grip the root apex that remains after crown fracture. Fig.46L is angled specifically for Lower Jaw - Left Side / Deep Lower Roots.
The bayonet / angled shank provides deep alveolar access, while the fine serrated inner beaks ensure the tiny apex does not slip. Essential for oral surgeons when root picks and elevators are not enough.
