Description

Dixon-Lovelace Kocher Haemostatic Tissue Forceps 16cm – SF-06-171 Straight & SF-06-172 Curved | SFKS SURGICAL

The Dixon-Lovelace Kocher Haemostatic Tissue Forceps 16cm, Ref No: SF-06-171 (Straight) & SF-06-172 (Curved) is a heavy-duty, traumatic surgical clamp designed for firm grasping of dense, tough tissues where a standard hemostat would slip.

This is an improved version of the classic Kocher forceps, featuring the Dixon-Lovelace pattern which offers a more precise jaw alignment and stronger grip.

What makes Kocher different from Crile/Kelly?
Crile and Kelly are for delicate vessels. Kocher with 1×2 teeth is TRAUMATIC – it has sharp interlocking teeth at the tip to hold thick fascia, skin, and bone membranes without slipping.

Two Patterns Available:

  • SF-06-171 – 16cm Straight: Best for surface tissue grasping, holding fascia during suturing, and clamping heavy bleeders.
  • SF-06-172 – 16cm Curved: Best for deep surgical fields where a curved jaw gives better line-of-sight and access around organs.

Key Features of SF-06-171 / SF-06-172:

1. Dixon-Lovelace Kocher Pattern: Premium heavy-duty pattern with superior tip alignment.
2. Aggressive 1×2 Teeth: One sharp tooth locks into two teeth for maximum grip on dense tissue – will not slip.
3. Transverse Serrations: Full jaw serrations + teeth = double security for hemostasis.
4. 16cm Optimal Length: Standard size for general, orthopedic, and gynecological surgery.
5. German Stainless Steel Construction: Forged from AISI 410 surgical steel, box-jointed, ratchet lock.
6. Traumatic But Controlled: Designed to hold, not crush, when used correctly.
