What is this plier?
SF-09-160 is a Double Sided Nance Loop Forming Pliers. It is an upgraded version of standard Nance Pliers. It is designed for precise forming of loops in four different lengths - 3mm, 4mm, 5mm and 6mm - with a single instrument. The double sided steps formation allows you to perform loops from either side, making it suitable for both left and right hand use.
Why Double Sided?
In single sided Nance pliers SF-09-159, you can only form loops on one side. In this double sided SF-09-160 model, steps are present on both sides of the beaks. You can perform loop either sides without turning the wire. This saves time in the clinic and lab.

1. Four Loop Lengths - 3, 4, 5 & 6mm: Forms precise, uniform loops in four sizes - 3mm, 4mm, 5mm and 6mm. Ideal for making various orthodontic loops and springs.
2. Rounded Edges Prevent Scoring Wire: The beaks are made with rounded edges. This prevents scoring, nicking and weakening of the wire while bending. You get smooth, clean loops without damage to the wire.
3. Double Sided Steps Formation: Steps formation on both sides - can be used performing loop either sides. More versatile and efficient.
4. Bending Capacity Max: 0.028" (0.71mm) Wire: Handles wire up to Max 0.028" (0.71mm). Suitable for light to medium orthodontic wires.
